CAMP BIBLE LESSONS
INTRODUCTION
Camp Bible Lessons serve three purposes-
1. They get campers and staff alike into "actual" Bible study
2. They provide a standard course for teaching different Bible Truths on a year by year basis in Canadian Sunday School Mission Camps
3. They provide a basis for leading into discussions on many topics with an emphasis on salvation
I. Overview Of The Material -
A. The Teachers Manual (contains)
1. An introduction to the course & some basic instructions
2. The same lesson as the Teen workbook in a statement format
3. Tips for teachers (Helpful ideas on how teach that days lesson)
4. An answer key for each level of workbook (allow for variations in answers)
B. The Work books that the campers use
1. Junior has five lessons and requires the camper to cross out wrong answers
2. Pre Teen has five lessons and requires some writing in of answers
3. Teen has 8 lessons and is mostly fill in the blanks (+10 Daily Devotions)
a. There is a verse to learn each day
b. There are "extra" verses to learn in the back
c. A decision certificate is included that you can fill out with the camper if he makes a profession of salvation.
C. Other resource material
1. A concordance (helps you find verses) (Most Bibles have an abridged one at the back)
2. A dictionary - Most Bible words mean the same thing in everyday language
3. A Bible Dictionary (which is more like an encyclopaedia)
4. Your own notes which you may refer to week by week
