PLAN
When everyone is in the cabin and ready for bed, is the time for this activity to begin. The Bible passages given are to emphasis the idea and it is better not to read them at first nor present them as devotionals. The passages may be read or repeated after the campers discover the best that is in them and their cabin mates. Then they will appreciate each other.
INSTRUCTIONS
The game takes between 20 and 30 minutes depending on the number of people and the age of the campers. The campers and leaders sit on the floor, or wherever it is the most convenient to form a circle. Give every camper a card with the rules of the game. Go over these so everyone understands them.
RULES OF THE GAME
1. When someone is speaking then all the rest show respect and do not interrupt, but listen attentively.
2. No private conversation is permitted.
3. It is not permitted to criticize or say bad things about others.
4. Everyone will have his or her turn and everyone is to participate.
5. If anyone is not prepared to participate when it comes to their turn they may ask to be the last to speak. However, they will have their turn to participate. The cabin leader explains what it means to have a "Friendship Circle". This time together must be presented very positively. Do not allow any negative words or criticism to come out at this time. The following is a plan that you may use to begin.
