FRIENDSHIP CIRCLE
5th NIGHT (THURSDAY)
The purpose of the Friendship Circle tonight is for each camper and staff to reflect more deeply on his/her knowledge and love for the Lord Jesus and the world He created and our personal walk with Him.
ACTIVITY
1. In the first round give each camper the opportunity to complete the phrase: "Before coming to camp this week I thought God was..."
2. In the second turn give each camper the opportunity to complete the phrase: "Now as we are drawing to a close this camp, God is this to me...."
3. In the third time around give each camper the opportunity to express: "from now on I want my walk with God to be this way ..."
PRAYER
Give each camper the opportunity to pray in regards to their promise to God about their own walk with Him. An example might be "Heavenly Father I want to give my whole self to You to be what YOU want me to be and do what YOU want me to do.

if not here, where?
if not now, when?The direction and encouragement of the cabin leader in "The Friendship Circle" must always be encouraging, uplifting and moving it along. During these nights, the cabin leader should be taking mental notes on what the campers are saying to God and each other so they may pray more effectively for them. It will also help them to write encouraging letters bringing them into accountability for their commitments to Him.
